• Guest analysis—Evaluating expected attendance and number of vehicles to determine appropriate transportation and parking solutions.
• Venue assessment—Assessing the venue’s unique features, including arrival routes, entries and exits, parking areas, and logistical challenges.
• Traffic control planning—Creating a specialized event-day traffic plan that will anticipate inflow surges, outflow surges, and more, and provide specific instructions for how and where to best manage the flow.
• Pedestrian considerations—Managing pedestrian routes and walkways that cross traffic is always a priority.
• Event-day equipment and staffing planning—Equipment procurement and set-up (cones, barriers, signage, radios, etc.) and adequate on-the-ground traffic control and, if relevant, valet staffing are elements of any good event transportation and parking plan.
• Event-day transportation planning—If your event will require remote parking with shuttles, intra-event shuttles, or other transportation, we will integrate this into our recommendations.
• Emergency preparedness coordination—Your event planner will provide the overall crisis management and evacuation plan for the event, and Corinthian’s consultants will layer in additional guidance for traffic flow and evacuation planning.
• Transportation and parking plan—All of the above will be consolidated into an overall event transportation and parking plan for your review. We are also happy to continue to work with your team to refine the plan if further development is needed.
